Work Group Supervisor Induction
This Induction is a mandatory requirement (from 1st April 2022) for any Rail Safety Worker that is required to undertake the role of a Work Group Supervisor (WGS). To be approved for this induction you MUST have completed the RCCC - Rail Corridor Construction Course (mandatory from 1st November 2023)
Description
This course provides the learners with the required knowledge and understanding of responsibilities and accountabilities when undertaking the role of a Work Group Supervisor on a SEPA site.
This course also provides reference to relevant procedures, acts & laws applicable to working in the rail corridor.
Once successfully completing this course, each participant will be issued with a Certificate of Completion. This competency will be uploaded to your RIW and Damstra-Eify profiles.
This is an interactive session to encourage participation and open discussion. This induction is held face to face only.
Prerequisites
- Valid MTA - Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card
- MTM Operator (Role and Competencies on RIW card)
- V/Line Operator (Role and Competencies on RIW card - South Dynon TMF project only)
- Around the Track Personnel (Construction/Maintenance) (Role and Competencies on RIW card)
- SWIRC Competency (If new to the rail industry after 1st Sept 2019 - on MTM Network only)
- MTM Rail Corridor Construction - RCCC (Role and Competency on RIW card) effective 1st Nov 2023
- Spot Checker/Access Controller status on RIW profile (App installed on mobile device)
- Aquipa App (App installed on mobile device)
- Damstra-eify profile with Work Group Supervisor role added
- Completed Site Specific Induction (SEPA project site where working)
If new to the SEPA LXRP project, you must complete the RCCC training within one month of commencing work and the booking confirmation must be sent to the Mobilisation Team and also shown at the WGS Induction or you will be denied entry.
